Our Mission
We are a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to rescuing, fostering and finding permanent loving homes for abandoned, homeless, and stray animals. Most of our pets live in foster homes before they are available for adoption to ensure they are healthy, socialized, and ready to become a part of your family. All of our pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and given a flea preventative before they are available for adoption. Cats and kittens are also tested for feline leukemia and the feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) and must be negative to enter the adoption program.
Adoption Policy
Cats have a foster before Pet Connect enrolls them. Then they are dewormed, combo tested, vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed/neutered. If a cat/kitten is adopted before spay/neuter or before vaccines are finished, the adopter must finish the vaccinations and alteration with us. We will provide opportunities to have it done as adoption fee included vaccines, alteration, microchip.
Fosters have the option every Saturday and Sunday to bring their adoptable cats to the adoption events at Petsmart. We need two volunteers at each event. Potential adopters look at cats, ask volunteers questions, fill out paperwork-which is then reviewed by the volunteers before they can take the cat home. If the adopter no longer wishes to have the cat, they must return it back to us. We always tell them to return the cat back to the foster if it doesn't work out.
Note: All of our animals are rescued, so age and breed are an approximation. We do our best to determine based on our experience and the advice of our veterinarian. We do not make any guarantees that the age or breed listed are the actual age or breed.
