The Humane Society of El Paso is sharing Mater's story not only for a chance to win a grant but to encourage people to have compassion towards animals and show how our organization goes above and beyond to give animals a second chance. This story and so many others is also a reminder that we can't make a difference without the help and support of animal lovers everywhere.

Adoption Policy
The HSEP is open 362 days a year!
The only holidays we're closed are Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
Monday-Friday we're open from 11am-6pm.
Weekends 11am-5:00pm.
Please note we stop adoptions 30 mintues before close.
We will close early on Christmas Eve-11am-3pm.
