At Valley Dog Rescue of Texas, we are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to giving abandoned, neglected, and abused animals a second chance at life. Based in the Valley of South Texas, we work tirelessly to rescue dogs who have been forgotten, mistreated, or left behind. Every animal that come into our care receives the medical treatment they need, the patience and compassion to heal emotionally, and the opportunity to experience love and safety—often for the very first time. Our ultimate goal is to match each rescued dog with a permanent, loving home where they can truly thrive. We believe that every life matters and that no animal is beyond hope. Through the dedication of our volunteers, fosters, adopters, and supporters, we are able to transform lives, one rescue at a time.
