Adoption Policy

Our Dog Adoption Process At Critter Care Vet Clinic, we’re committed to finding the perfect match between our dogs and their forever families. Our adoption process is designed to ensure that each dog goes to a safe, loving home—and that you, as an adopter, feel supported every step of the way. 1. Meet Our Dogs You can view adoptable dogs on our petfinder or by visiting the clinic during adoption hours. We encourage you to come in, meet the dogs, and talk with our team about what kind of companion you’re looking for. 2. Fill Out an Adoption Application Once you’ve found a dog you're interested in, you’ll complete a simple application that helps us get to know you, your lifestyle, and what kind of pet would be the best fit for your home. 3. Vet and Reference Check As a veterinary clinic, we prioritize the health and well-being of our animals. We may reach out to your current or previous vet and personal references to make sure the dog will be going to a responsible and caring environment. 4. Final Approval & Adoption Fee If everything looks good, we’ll finalize the adoption. 5. Take Home Your New Best Friend You’ll receive all medical records and care instructions, so you can start your journey together on the right paw.
