Bangs Animal Services
Our Mission
Our goal is to reduce the overpopulation crisis within our community and keep all animals happy and healthy through proper vaccination, sterilization, and owner education. It takes each part of the community to make a difference.
Adoption Policy
Owners must not already own 4 animals, as per city ordinance, they can own up to 3 animals prior to adopting another from our facility. If they do not own their home, they must release their landlord's contact information so that we may verify they are allowed to have an animal on the premises. The adoption cannot be processed until an affirmative response has been received. If the response is delayed, so is the adoption. Owners are asked if they can provide financially for their animal, any indication that they cannot afford adoption, sterilization, or vaccination prices may cause the adoption application to be declined.
Potential owners are asked to put in an application to adopt an animal. If their information seems good and they seem like a good fit, we move forward. Adoption processes can take a couple of days depending on the time an application was submitted, and the popularity of the animal. Once we choose an adopter, we have them spend some time with the pet in the shelter before taking it home.
