Dogs Without Borders Foundation

Founded in 2025, Dogs Without Borders Foundation is a binational nonprofit with both a U.S. 501(c)(3) and Mexican A.C., dedicated to reducing the suffering of street dogs in San Miguel de Allende through targeted spay-neuter-release efforts and a puppy rescue program across Central Mexico. Our team, alongside veterinarians, trainers, and foster families, carefully evaluates rescued puppies to determine which can transition successfully into adoptive homes. Puppies enter a structured program focused on medical care, rehabilitation, socialization, and early training to prepare them for healthy, successful adoptions. Some puppies continue their training in foster homes in Central Texas before placement. We proudly partner with From Stray to Stay Rescue—some dogs are adopted through their organization, while others are adopted directly through Dogs Without Borders.
