Our Mission

Our shelter is committed to helping abandoned, neglected and surrendered pets. We work with a large animal hospital (they care for dogs, cats and all farm animals) We bring them into the shelter, test them for diseases, have them professionally groomed if necessary and get them immediate medical care if necessary as well. We then vaccinate them, have them sterilized, microchip them and then put them up for adoption. We are committed to helping our community with both education and population control We have a large building that we call the "nursery" where pregnant dogs can have a safe, clean environment to birth their litters. We also take in abandoned senior dogs and cats as we are also registered as a senior sanctuary. Many many dogs in our area are abandoned once they are old and our senior populations consists of almost half of our total population. Occasionally, we can get a senior adopted but for the most part, they live their lives out here at the farm.

Adoption Policy

Once we are contacted by a potential adopter, we send out a very detailed application for them to fill out. We check out veterinary references as well as general references. If their application is approved, we do an extensive interview and then transport them to their new homes. We pride ourselves in keeping in contact with all of our adopters!
