Memphis Pets Alive (MPA!) is focused on helping the healthy and treatable dogs and cats who are at risk in a shelter, by rescuing the pets who are at the greatest risk and helping owners with alternatives to shelter surrenders.
We are a volunteer and foster-based organization but we do also have some adoptable cats available at the PetSmart habitat at 5883 Poplar Ave in Memphis, TN.

The Memphis Pets Alive! adoption fee for dogs and puppies is $150. This fee covers spay/neuter, microchipping, vaccinations, deworming, and a heartworm test (if the dog is of age). Adopters must be at least 21 years of age. Current pets must be up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered. Dogs should be considered part of the family and should not be outside only. Vet references must be provided. Adopters must be local to the Greater Memphis area.

The Memphis Pets Alive! adoption fees for cats are on a sliding scale based on age and courtesy posts. Fees can range from $50.00 to $125.00. We also offer pair discount fees. All fees covers spay/neuter, microchipping, vaccinations, deworming, and FIV/FeLV testing on all cats and kittens.
Please note: Adopters must be at least 21 years of age. Current pets must be up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered. Vet references must be provided. Cats must be indoor only and declawing is not allowed. Adopters must be local to the Greater Memphis area.
