Our Mission
At Ruff Start Rescue of East Tennessee, our mission is to provide a second chance for every dog in need. We are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming dogs from various backgrounds, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being while matching them with loving forever homes. We strive to promote responsible pet ownership and create a world where every dog is valued, cherished, and embraced as a beloved family member.
Adoption Policy
Prospective adopters will complete an application and upon review will meet the pet they are interested in. Multiple meetings are encouraged. When the pet is cleared for adoption (vaccinated, sterilized, etc.) the adoption will take place.
