Old Scratch Rescue Inc.
Our Mission
Old Scratch Rescue Inc. has been organized exclusively for the prevention of cruelty to animals including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or corresponding section of any future federal tax code.
Within these limits, Old Scratch Rescue Inc. is dedicated to providing shelter, sanctuary, medical care and adoption services for abandoned, stray and feral companion animals in Middle Tennessee. Old Scratch Rescue Inc. will work with humane societies, other animal rescue groups, the public and governmental agencies to offer relief from pet overpopulation.
Adoption Policy
All adopted cats must be indoors (unless otherwise noted) and must never be de-clawed.
