Our Mission
We place as many animals as possible into our adoption areas but also allow animals to be pulled by IRS 501c3 approved Rescues
Sumner County Animal Control has been a Division of the Sumner County Sheriff's office since 2009. We moved into our new state of the art Animal Control Facility in May of 2011. Our facility has a dog intake, cat intake, dog adoption and cat adoption area as well as a cat play room and visitation room for familys to introduce their existing pets to their potential new pets.

Adoption Policy
The adoption fee for dogs is $25-$55 and for cats is $25-$35. Adoption fees must be paid in cash, and we do not keep change on site. We do not have a debit card machine or ATM at this time.Â
Hours of Operation for adoption are Tuesday through Saturday 10 am to 4pm. Hours of Operation for intake are Tuesday through Saturday 9 am to 4 pm.
