Our Mission
We believe that no animal should endure the pain and suffering of a life of abandonment and neglect. Our mission is to provide care, comfort and compassion to animals in need while engaging the hearts, hands and minds of our community to bring about an end to the neglect and mistreatment of companion animals and to strengthen the human-animal bonds through education and awareness.
Adoption Policy
All of our adoptions require an application, meet and greet, and completed adoption contract. All dogs adopted through A Freedom Journey, if surrendered, MUST be returned to the rescue.
Adopters agree to continue with monthly preventatives for dogs as well as annual exams and vaccinations upon adoption.
