Our Mission
Anderson County Animal Rescue Foundation (AC ARF) promotes humane treatment of animals in Anderson County. We advocate responsible companion animal ownership through educational programs and strive to increase public awareness of the need and value of community involvement and responsibility for public and animal welfare. Our mission is to keep our community pets out of the area shelters by education on animal welfare and responsibilities of pet ownership as well as providing support to those in need to ensure their pets are healthy, happy and at home where they belong.
Adoption Policy
Set up a meet and greet with adoptable animal to determine if it is a good fit. If potential adopter has concerns regarding another pet at home, we encourage another meet and greet. We use a combined contract adoption application form. We offer home trials and arrange for home visits if needed
