Our Mission

We provide a safe and comfortable place for animals in transition to decompress and recuperate if necessary before going on to their furever home.

We are registered as a 501(c)(3) organization with the IRS and as a Charitable Organization with the State of Tennessee, CO41159.

Adoption Policy

We have an adoption questionnaire that potential parents fill out. It covers their current family situation, have they ever had animals before, do they have a current vet, are they employed, etc. When we are contacted, potential parents are sent the form to complete. Once the information is verified (using any public information available via the Internet on them as well as checking references), we make an appointment for them to come meet the animal(s) and us. We observe how they are with the animals and their conversations with each other to determine if it is a good match. Upon adoption, there is a final checklist they must complete to meet our conditions of adoption, including: no declawing, must be kept indoors, must be seen by a vet, and if for any reason they do not wish to keep the animal, it must be returned to us and the adoption fee will be refunded.
