Rescued in SC is an all volunteer, foster based organization dedicated to helping all breeds of dogs in need.
Our dogs come in to rescue for many different reasons. Most were abandoned at high kill shelters. Regardless of their origins, our goal for every dog we have is the same: a safe, happy home where each dog is a well-loved member of the family.
Our adoption process consists of an application, and reference checks. We do home visits when a reference check is not enough. You must be at least 21 years old to apply to adopt. Please fill out all application fields as accurately as possible. We will not process incomplete applications.
**Meet and Greets are scheduled with approved adopters.**
Adoptions are made on a best home basis. If two excellent applications come in for the same dog, our policy is first in time, first in line. Our goal is to have the very best home for all our dogs. Our dogs are in private foster homes waiting to be adopted. Due to limited foster space, we are unable to hold an animal to be adopted at a later time. Adoption fees vary by animal and are listed in each individual posting.
Please keep in mind that we do our best to make an educated guess as to the breeds of our rescued pets. In rescue we rarely see the parents of our dogs and puppies, and even when we do, they are usually mixed breeds as well.
Remember that every job at RSC is performed by a volunteer. We do our best to process applications in a timely manner. The number of dogs we have in our care and the number of applications we receive will influence our processing time.
***Due to the volume of applications received on certain dogs/pups only the adopter chosen for a particular dog/pup will receive an email response.***
