Our Mission
East Cooper Pet Relief was created to improve the health and well-being of animals, humans, and the community. We are passionate about providing veterinary care and assistance for marginalized people and animals in the community. ECPR’s mission is to support and protect the human-animal bond for those who have financial, physical or transportation limitations. The focus will be to care for those people and animals that do not or cannot access other available resources.
By helping people maintain their relationship with their pet, we are helping the individual, the animal, and our community to live healthier, richer, and happier lives.
Adoption Policy
Pets available for adoption with East Cooper Pet Relief, including kittens, adult cats, and occasionally dogs, are under the care of the doctors at Advanced Animal Care in Mt Pleasant, SC. The first step in our adoption process is to complete an adoption questionnaire which will be reviewed by our staff. We will then contact you regarding next steps.
Our adoption fee is typically $150 per feline and $300 per canine. The adoption fee will include the pet's first year vaccinations, de-worming and essential medical care. It also includes spay/neuter and micro-chipping. Please help homeless pets find their forever homes and adopt from East Cooper Pet Relief!Â
