Our Mission
The animal shelter has a volunteer group called Friends of the Bristol Animal Shelter is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization working to supplement the efforts of the Town of Bristol, RI's no-kill Animal Care and Adoption Center. It is their mission to assist in providing a safe environment and emergency veterinary funding for the animals in their care until they find their forever homes. Adoption Policy
Adoption Policies:
In order to adopt an animal from the shelter, you must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid form of I.D. Adopter must show proof of home ownership or a rental lease which allows pets. The adoption fee for cats is $250 and for dogs is $350 payable by check or money order only. Adoption applications may be filled out online.
