Our Mission

Especially those in the southeastern part of the U.S. and especially those who have been overlooked by other rescues due to medical reasons. It is the mission of Hound Haven to bring these hounds and beagles to the safety of rescue here in Pennsylvania, where they will receive not only basic care but also medical care, training and compassion. The ultimate goal is to find a suitable new forever home for these deserving dogs.

Adoption Policy

All potential adopters must fill out an adoption application (with references) and e-mail/fax it back to Hound Haven...(FAX-724-206-0603) Or go to the website and directly submit Please email houndhaven.lonepine@gmail.com for adoption application http://www.adoptapet.com/hound-haven-of-lone-pine/ Please allow 3-5 Day for review Once approved you will receive a telephone call, followed up with an email Arrangements need to be made for a physical home check, or a virtual home check . Adoption contract is required. All dogs are understood to be on a trial period for the first 2 weeks.
