Purrfect Paws and Pals
Our Mission
Our main goal is to assist in the effort of limiting the overpopulation of cats and kittens through Trap, Neuter, and Return (TNR) efforts, and to place friendly adoptable felines in permanent, loving homes. Additionally, we aim to educate the public on the importance of spaying and neutering their pets and to assist individuals in finding the resources necessary to access these services, thereby contributing to the overall welfare of animals and the community.
Adoption Policy
We have an application that is required to be completed to adopt. We also ask an adoption fee of typically $80. After a submitted application is approved, we then set up a phone interview so we can determine what kind of personality the potential adopter is looking for in a new cat, if the adopter does not have a specific cat in mind already. We then set up a meet and greet with the family, the cat, and if they have a dog, a meeting with the dog to make sure neither one is aggressive with each other. We allow a few weeks for the cat to acclimate to a new environment and will take the cat back if it does not work out. We also require an adoption contract to be completed for all our cats that are adopted.
