Berad Family Rescue
Our Mission
Berad Family Rescue is a very small Pittsburgh based family who TNR and who rescue stray cats or kittens born outside, foster them, and find them loving forever homes.
Our goal is to help local cats born or living outside close to where we live find caring homes while educating local communities about TNR, however we are often unable to help due to space limitations.
Adoption Policy
All potential adopters must complete an online application and have a video phone screening call with us. All potential adopters must provide their vet information so that we can check in the their current vet. If no vet, potential adopters must provide name of vet they would go to so that we can follow up with the vet to make sure the potential adopter is a client.
If approved, adopters would have to pay the required $130 adoption fee and sign an adoption form. The adoption fee helps us cover costs from spay/neutering, rabies vaccine, FVRCP vaccine, vet/food/litter expenses.
