Our Mission

At Sylvia's Promise Rescue, our mission is to build a compassionate community of people and organizations working together to save and prevent tomorrow's abused, neglected, and homeless animals. Every animal save is promise kept-a promise hope, healing, and better tomorrow. We are a rescue, and our fosters are truly the heart of everything we do. They open their homes and hearts to the injured, the abandoned, and the forgotten- offering safety, love, and socialization until each animal is ready for new beginning. Sylvia’s Promise Rescue operates in two key capacities: 1. Rescue, Rehabilitate, and Adopt directly to loving forever homes all over the US. 2. Adoption Policy

We have a strict adoption policy and a dedicated team to process all applications. We do information verification, reference checks, interviews, and home checks. Preliminary requirements: Dog Adoption Application The first step in the process of adopting a dog from Sylvia's Promise Rescue, Inc is to complete this application. The application provides important information. Working with you, we will be able to determine if the adoption is in the pet's best interest, and the process ensures that you will find a pet well-suited to your lifestyle. Please provide detailed information for all questions. To qualify for adoption, you must: -Be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver's license or state Identification Card stating your current address. -Have the knowledge and consent of a landlord, if relevant -Be able and willing to spend the time and money necessary to provide medical treatment, proper nourishment, care, and training for a pet
