Our Mission
Cause4paws is dedicated to the rescuing stray cats and kittens in Tioga county, P.A. We provide financial assistance for emergency situations, provide foster homes and seek out adoption opportunities for the cats and kittens in our care. We also provide financial assistance for spaying and neutering both stray and owned cats and kittens. It is our goal to reduce the number of unwanted kittens being born each year and provide care and a home for those being born. We are a foster home based rescue and not a shelter. Our cats live in a home environment and not in cages. We often take in special needs cats and kittens and the ones no one else wants. We believe each and every cat deserves to live in a loving furever home, special needs should never be considered a death sentence.
Adoption Policy
All potential adopters must provide a vet reference and personal references. An application must be submitted and if they are renters they must have a written documentation from the landlord stating they are allowed to own a pet along with a telephone number where the landlord can be reached. Follow up is done soon after adoption and adopters sign a contract stating for whatever reason they can no longer keep the cat, the cat must be returned to Cause4paws.
