Our Mission
The Gateway Humane Society is a no-kill shelter dedicated to improving the lives of unwanted, lost or abandoned cats and dogs.
We provide medical attention along with a safe, clean environment for the animals to live in until a loving person or family comes along to provide the pet a new home.
Our motto: no matter how long, we will find you a home.
The Gateway Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that relies on the good will and generosity of individuals and businesses to provide proper care for our pets.
Adoption Policy
Adoption Process:
- Pre-adoption form and interview (at the shelter after meeting pet).
- You will be called within 2 to 7 days and notified of approval or disapproval.
- If approved, you may pay for and pick up your new pet during next open day's business hours.
