Our Mission

Northwest Dog Project rescues, re-homes, and enhances the lives of neglected, abused, and homeless dogs while advocating responsible pet ownership. We welcome medically challenged dogs and provide a nurturing forever sanctuary to seniors who have been abandoned in their golden years.

Adoption Policy

Please note that we have a thorough adoption process to make the best match possible for our dogs and our adopters! There are times when we schedule a few meet & greets for one dog prior to making a final decision. 1. Submit an Adoption Application 2. Application Selection/Processing* * Due to the volume of applications we receive, we are unable to process every application submitted. IF your application is selected as a match for a dog, we will notify you, reach out to your references and request a home tour video. 3. Meet & Greet IF your references and home tour video are approved, you will be invited out to our rescue location to meet our dog(s). 4. Sign Adoption Contract IF the meet & greet goes well for everyone, you will be asked to pay the adoption fee, sign the adoption contract, and are ready to take your new dog home!
