Our Mission
The mission of the Animal Control Department is to ensure that animals kept within the corporate city limits of the City of Perry are treated humanely and with compassion. Additionally, Animal Control is tasked with controlling the population of wild and feral animals to insure the safety of the two- and four-legged residents of the City of Perry.
Adoption Policy
Potential adopters are encouraged to contact Perry Animal Control (580-336-4422 or on facebook)to learn more about an available animal and determine if they may be a good fit for their household. We strive to place each animal in a safe, appropriate home based on their known needs and behavior while in our care. Animals are spayed/neutered prior to adoption whenever possible. If an animal cannot be altered due to age or medical reasons, the adopter must provide proof of spay/neuter within 60 days. All animals receive a current rabies vaccination prior to adoption. Any known medical, behavioral, or placement considerations are discussed with adopters before adoption.
