Our Mission
Beagle Freedom Project is the world’s leading organization dedicated to rescuing animals used in experimental research. The majority of BFP’s adoptable animals are survivors of laboratory testing, freed from facilities where they were never given the chance to experience love, kindness, or a real home.
Due to their painful pasts, these special animals may require an abundance of patience and compassion from their adopters as they navigate a new life of freedom. While laboratory survivors are often initially anxious, fearful, and unfamiliar with basic training, they typically blossom into the most loving, affectionate, and devoted companions. Our team is honored to support you on this meaningful journey, and we thank you for considering opening your heart and home to an animal in need.
Beagle Freedom Project operates globally, with adoptable animals located primarily in foster homes across the USA or at our Freedom Fields sanctuary in Nowata, Oklahoma. We warmly welcome out-of-state adoptions within the USA and encourage adopters to consider their travel parameters as they review our adoptable animals.
