Our Mission

The Fayette County Dog Shelter is operated by the Fayette County Commissioners' Office, under the direct supervision of the Fayette County Sheriff's Office, assisting and protecting domestic dogs for the residents of Fayette County, Ohio.

Our Vision is to return lost pets to their rightful owners, and for all adoptable dogs kept at the Fayette County dog Shelter to find loving and permanent homes.

Our Mission as the Fayette County Dog Shelter is to respond to all calls that will protect and save lives of roving pets, promote adoptions and educate spay and neuter practices.

Our Values are to be compassionate, kind and humane.
