Our Mission
Our mission is simple: **save the dogs who need us most.**
Conrad Canine Rescue And Sanctuary is dedicated to rescuing code red dogs facing euthanasia in shelters throughout our region and beyond. We focus on dogs who have been placed on kill lists and are at immediate risk of losing their lives due to shelter overcrowding, lack of space, medical needs, or other circumstances beyond their control.
We do not take owner surrenders. Our focus is on giving shelter dogs facing euthanasia a second chance at life. We provide them with safety, veterinary care, rehabilitation, love, and the opportunity to find a responsible, loving forever home.
**Every dog deserves a chance. Every life is worth saving.**
Adoption Policy
Our adoption process is designed to ensure that every dog is placed in a safe, loving, and appropriate forever home. Potential adopters complete an adoption application and are carefully considered based on the individual needs, temperament, and requirements of the dog they are interested in adopting.
We may communicate with applicants to discuss their home, lifestyle, experience with dogs, and ability to provide proper care. Meet-and-greets may be required when appropriate. All adopters must agree to provide proper veterinary care, including maintaining vaccinations and continuing responsible pet ownership.
Our goal is not simply to place a dog, but to make the best possible match between the dog and adopter so that the adoption can be successful and permanent. Every adoption is subject to approval by Conrad Canine Rescue And Sanctuary.
