Lavender's Legacy Cat Rescue is dedicated to saving and enriching the lives of cats who need us most—special needs and senior cats seeking a second chance, and neonatal kittens requiring devoted, around-the-clock care. We are inspired by the resilience of cats who, despite their challenges, continue to trust and love humans unconditionally.
Education and advocacy are at the heart of our mission. We work to empower our community with the knowledge and resources needed to provide compassionate, responsible care for all animals while advocating for the rights and well-being of cats everywhere. By fostering understanding and driving positive change, we strive to create a brighter future for cats and inspire a world where every feline finds love and a forever home
Adoption Policy
At Lavender's Legacy Cat Rescue, we prioritize ensuring that each adoption is a good match for both the animal and the adopter. Our adoption process includes the following steps:
Adoption Application: Potential adopters must complete a thorough adoption application.
Veterinarian Contact: We will follow up with the adopter’s veterinarian to confirm their history of responsible pet care.
Adopter Follow-Up: After consulting with the veterinarian, we will schedule a follow-up phone call with the adopter to discuss their application and adoption intentions.
Meet and Greet: Once these steps are complete, we will arrange a meet and greet with the animal to ensure compatibility.
Application Review: Lavender's Legacy Cat Rescue will carefully review all incoming applications, which will then be forwarded to the foster caregivers for further assessment.
Final Approval: Lavender’s Legacy Cat Rescue is responsible for providing final approval for all adoptions.
Our goal is to ensure that every animal is placed in a safe, loving, and responsible home.
