Our Mission
At this time we are only adopting to families in Northwest Ohio and Lower Michigan. Some of our dogs required fenced in yards. The first part of the process when you find a dog that you are interested in is to fill out an application which can be found on our website www.bffohio.org. We will contact you within 48 hours of receiving the application.  We try to match each dog's personality with the home and family lifestyle that is a good match for it.
Best Friends Forever, Inc. is a 501c3 all volunteer Toledo rescue group, who help get unwanted local dogs and puppies into their forever homes.  All donations go for the care of our dogs and puppies. All dogs and puppies are spayed or neutered and have age appriopriate vaccines when adopted.   We thank you for your interest in our dogs and also thank you for your donations!  To contact us, please email us at
Adoption Policy
Our adoption fee includes up to date age appropriate vaccinations, spayed or neutered and heartworm preventative.
