Our Mission
The Jackson County Dog Pound are always looking for new volunteers! Like us on facebook to stay up to date on our events schedule.
The Jackson County Dog Pound is a rural facility run by 2 wardens. We rely on the generosity of supporters and always need volunteers. If you have room in your home - ADOPT, if you have room in your heart - VOLUNTEER and always share pics of those in need.
Adoption Policy
Please contact us directly at 740-286-7262 with any questions about adopting one of our dogs.
Our $200 fee includes: spay or neuter, DHLPP vaccine, current year dog license, microchip, flea/tick treatment, wormer, leash and collar.
WE ALL HAVE A RESPONSIBILITY TO PREVENT UNWANTED ANIMALS FROM BEING EUTHANIZED.
