Our Mission
PetPromise is an Ohio based charitable pet rescue organization made up of volunteers working to save the lives of homeless and abused pets. We are dedicated to changing the world for homeless pets.
OUR HISTORY
The founders of PetPromise began rescuing and finding homes for stray cats and dogs in 1996. The founders, along with a network of others interested in the welfare of homeless companion animals, formed PetPromise in 1999. PetPromise was officially incorporated on February 4, 2000.
WHAT WE DO:
rescue strays from the street or from death row at shelters
provide homeless and abused dogs and cats with medical care, food and shelter
placement and adoption of pets into permanent homes
provide spay and neuter services and food for feral and community cats
create community awareness and provide education the homeless pet problem and ways people can help work toward a solution.

We do not have a shelter or sanctuary. All pets are cared for in volunteer foster homes until they are adopted.
