Ross County Humane Society
Our Mission
The Humane Society is a nonprofit corporation. We are governed by a Board of Directors who are volunteers from the community, dedicated to animal welfare. We are committed to the general welfare, sheltering and placement of animals, prevention of cruelty to animals, animal overpopulation, and education concerning humane treatment of all living creatures. The Society is not controlled or funded by any statewide or national organization.
Adoption Policy
All of our dogs available for adoption can be seen on our website www.rosscountyhumanesociety.org. The website is kept up to date in real time as new dogs come in daily. Adoption fees range from $79 to $250. All interested adoption candidates must apply using the adoption application link to be considered. We only adopt to indoor homes and all current pets must be up to date on vaccines as well as spayed or neutered.
