Our Mission
Room For One More Rescue envisions and works towards the day where every adoptable companion animal has a loving, responsible home; where no animal will suffer from abuse, neglect or ignorance.
We hope through education, empathy and understanding, we can help our communities understand and accept that adoptable companion animals are not a disposable commodity. We encourage people to responsibly spay or neuter their animals to put an end to the overpopulation that exists today.
Our Vision means that we will work tirelessly with a network of fosters, fellow rescues, the veterinary community and local animal control agencies to make sure there is always Room For One More Rescue - so that we never have to turn an animal in need away. Registration #502
Adoption Policy
Application link below. Once we receive the completed application, the foster of the animal(s) calls the applicant's veterinary office to verify their applicant's history of caring for previous pets. All references are contacted and asked about applicant's history of caring for pets. Any current animals in the home must also be up to date on vaccinations, and testing (FIV/FeLk or HWT/Lyme as appropriate for animal being adopted) and be spay/neutered.
