Our Mission
GSRNY is a 501c3 Rescue that works with local shelters as well as out of state shelters to save shepherds and mixed breeds from euthanasia lists, and other dire or unwanted situations. We do not have a facility, we are a foster-based rescue.
We rely heavily on donations to continue our live saving mission.
If you would like to Become a GSRNY Guardian Angel, all it takes is a monthly, quarterly or yearly donation of any amount.

Not ALL of our dogs are listed on Petfinder or our website. We may send you pictures and descriptions of other wonderful German Shepherds and Mixed Breeds based on the information you provide to us, OR we may call you directly.
Once the Adoption Application is completed and sent back to us at GSRNYHELP@gmail.com, we will process your application and reach out you as soon as possible.
As part of your application’s approval, your veterinarian will be contacted for a reference on current or/and past pets. Please be sure to give them permission to speak with our group.
