Bay Ridge Kittens
Our Mission
Bay Ridge Kittens is a tiny all-volunteer rescue improving the lives of Brooklyn street cats and kittens through TNR (trap-neuter-return), fostering and adoption. We specialize in rescuing and rehabilitating critically ill or neonatal kittens with the goal of finding them suitable forever homes. In cooperation with other local groups, we practice TNR in our neighborhood to help end the overpopulation crisis in NYC and the cycle of homeless cats and kittens who struggle to survive outdoors.
Adoption Policy
Our Adoption Process:
1. Completion of adoption application at bit.ly/brkadopt
2. Reference checks
3. Video interview with virtual home visit
4. Virtual “Meet & Greet” with matched kittens and their foster parents
5. Adoption fees: $175, $300 for pairs
Policies:
—We do not adopt out single kittens to homes without a young playful friend as a companion. If you're adopting a second cat from another rescue, that's fine! Just let us know in your application.
—We do not process same-day adoptions.
