Our Mission

Adore-A-Bullie Paws and Claws was born from the passion of a small group of individual rescuers. We were overwhelmed with sadness for the large number of companion animals surrendered to the NYC shelter system each day and felt we needed to do something to help. Our goal is to develop a network of experienced fosters who can prepare shelter animals and strays for life in a forever home. We seek to find the most appropriate match for each companion animal to minimize returns and ensure happy tails. Furthermore, we hope to increase awareness about shelter animals and responsible pet ownership through community education. We also aim to decrease the number of homeless animals through our spay/neuter assistance program. Visit our website at www.adore-a-bullie.org

Adoption Policy

If you are interested in fostering or adopting one of our animals, the first step is filling out an application. We will next set up a home visit and a meet and greet. We currently do not have a physical location, though we are happy to set up meet and greets for our pets at a mutually convenient location.
