Our Mission
The Dog House Rescue offers refuge to dogs from high-kill shelters who are deserving of loving homes. Great dogs that would otherwise be euthanized are given medical treatment, spayed/neutered, and obedience trained so that they may continue to be good citizens in furever families.
Adoption Policy
Our Adoption Process
1. Begins with a simple online application to help us understand your needs and what you would like in your furry friend.
2. We move forward with a meet and greet! Personal chemistry is important and we want everyone to be excited about their new family members.
3. Next, we invite you to send us a virtual walk through of your home including where the dog will eat, sleep, and stay when you are away.
4. We deliver your new family member to your home. Please note that most dogs will require more than one meet and greet before handoff so that their first night in a new home is shared with familiar friends.
