Our Mission
The Churchill Animal Protection Society (CAPS) was founded in 1986. CAPS is a non profit no kill dog and cat animal shelter serving the residents of Churchill County Nevada. Our mission is to find permanent, caring homes for the cats and dogs in our care; to reduce the number of unwanted litters by educating the residents of Churchill County on the importance and benefits of spaying and neutering; to rescue adoptable cats and dogs from Fallon Animal Control; and to educate the public on companion animal welfare issues and alternatives to cat and dog surrender.
Adoption Policy
All dogs must be inside/outside and NEVER tied up.
Potential adopters must have at least a 6ft secure fence.
Cats must be inside ONLY, and NEVER declawed.
We do not adopt kittens or puppies under 6 months to anyone with children under the age of 5.
