Our Mission
We are the Livingston Animal Control Division. We serve the residents with regard to domestic animals as well as wildlife.
The animal shelter is always happy to accept donations of pet items such as carriers, leashes, collars, beds, bleach, paper towels, cat/dog toys, treats, cat/dog food or any other pet-related items.
Foster homes for kittens without mothers are sometimes needed because the kittens need to be bottle fed. Please contact the shelter at (973) 992-3000 extension #3390 if you would be interested in volunteering.
Adoption Policy
We have several animals that are looking for permanent homes! Please contact the shelter at (973) 992-3000 extension #3390 to arrange for a visit!
Shelter hours are 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. After-hours visitation can also be arranged in certain cases. Please call the shelter at (973) 992-3000 extension #3390 to schedule an after-hours appointment.
