For Dog's Sake

Our mission is to save as many dogs as possible and to transport them to homes in states where there is a high demand for rescued dogs. We are highly selective about our southern rescue partners. Our intake volunteers are trained to select adoptable dogs based on health and temperament assessments. While our pups are being cared for and socialized in their foster homes, we address any medical needs the dogs may have. Your dog will come to you having received age-appropriate vaccines, initial de-worming, spay/neuter surgery, and a microchip. While the pups are being cared for in the south, we are busy processing applications to find them their perfect forever homes. To adopt, the first step is to complete the application which you can access by clicking the link above. To ensure a good fit, the application is followed by a veterinary reference check (if you have/had current or previous pets) and a phone interview with one of the southern Adoption Coordinators and/or the dog's foster parent. The process may also include a home visit. If you are approved for adoption, it's time for your pup to hitch a ride on transport to New England to join your family!
