Wilmington Animal Centrix
Our Mission
We are a 501(c)(3), community outreach that works to support and create bridges between local animal rescues and community members who are trying to help animals in need. Our long-term goal is to reduce pet homelessness in New Hanover County, and surrounding communities. We will accomplish this goal by, working with individuals in our community, as well as other community non-profits to help keep pets in their current home. Our main project is our SNIP program which provides a voucher to cover the cost of the spays and neuters. This project reduces the number of animals that need to find homes or end up in our county shelters.
Adoption Policy
- We require a home visit, so our adoption area is within an hour and thirty minutes outside of Wilmington
- We require an application to be filled out before we schedule a meet an greet
