Our Mission
Gotham City Kitties [GCK] is dedicated to improving the lives of feral cats through Trap-Neuter-Return [TNR], reducing the number of abandoned friendly cats living on the streets, and providing lifetime sanctuary to feral cats with no other viable options. Gotham City Kitties [GCK] is a private, 501(c)(3), volunteer-run, non-profit organization.
Adoption Policy
We require the following:
1. a lengthy pre-adoption application
2. check veterinary and personal references
3. perform a home-visit at prior to adoption, typically,
4. deliver the cats to the new home
5. require follow-up visits, photos, calls, emails... as deemed necessary
6. will ALWAYS take the cat back if the adoption doesn't work out, if they can no longer keep the cat... no matter how many years pass. THIS is part of the signed contract.
