Our Mission
We are Paws and Love, Inc. A nonprofit rescue servicing the Beaufort County, NC area. We take in at risk cats and kittens who have been abandoned, orphaned or have somehow found themselves helpless and living on the streets.Â
We do a TNR or a TNA program. The TNR is where we trap,neuter and release the cat back into its native area. This is provided to help memebers of our community who need assistance with their cat population. Our TNA program is similar, but the "A" is for adoption. When we come across homeless or street cats and kittens and they meet the criteria for living inside we get them fully vetted and then place them into our adoptables program.
We have found that many street cats are not truly feral and are actually the most loving and gentle of all the cats. They are genuinely grateful for being rescued and for having their wants and needs fully met.
Our adoption fee is $95 and it includes spay/neuter, rabies vaccine, fvrcp, as well as a combo test for fiv/felv.

While we do not have a set building as of yet, it is certainly a dream of ours. In the meantime, we operate through wonderful and caring foster homes. You can message us to schedule a visit. We do home visits as well as meet in Washington, NC.Â
