Our Mission
Maverick Pet Transportation & Rescue is a nationwide 501c3 non profit organization. We rescue animals from all over the country and find homes for them.
While we are based in North Carolina, we have divisions in Iowa, Kentucky, New York, Florida, New Jersey, South Carolina, Texas, just to mention a few.
We also help organize the transportation of animals to their new homes or other rescues. We do not transport directly from the shelter to out of state adopters or rescues. We follow strict guidelines administered by the USDA/APHIS and the Animal Welfare Protection act that include quarintine, vaccinations and spay/neuter of animals prior to leaving the state that they are currently in.
Our goal is to one day secure funding thru sponsors and donors to purchase a vehicle that will be capable of transporting 104 animals nationwide. This vehicle will also be so versitile that we will be able to help secure animals during disasters, puppy mill situations, hoarding situations and
