Our Mission
At Helmstead Holler Haven Animal Rescue, our mission is to provide a safe haven for animals in need—especially those coming from neglect, abandonment, or difficult beginnings. We focus on rescue, rehabilitation, and thoughtful adoption, ensuring each animal receives the time, care, and love they need to truly thrive.
Through foster-based care, community education, and intentional placement, we aim to not only save lives but create lasting, meaningful matches between animals and their forever families.
Adoption Policy
Our goal is to ensure safe, responsible, and lifelong placements for every animal in our care. Adopters must provide a loving home, proper nutrition, routine veterinary care, and a safe environment.
If an adoption does not work out, the animal must be returned to our rescue. Adopted animals may not be rehomed, sold, or transferred without our approval.
All pets must remain up to date on veterinary care and be treated humanely. We reserve the right to reclaim an animal if there is evidence of neglect or violation of the agreement.
All animals must be spayed or neutered within the required timeframe, and breeding is strictly prohibited. Adoption fees are nonrefundable and help support the continued care of animals in our rescue.
