Our Mission
The mission of the Louie Blue Rescue is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming these fur babies, ensuring they receive the care and love they deserve. This includes matching them with their perfect new homes. We will work closely with the local Animal Shelter (Wilkes County Animal Services). Our commitment extends beyond just rescue; we aim to raise awareness about animal welfare and promote responsible pet ownership within our community. This will be through collaboration with local shelters, the School system, and volunteers. We strive to create a brighter future for every animal in need.
Adoption Policy
Policy for adoption of fosters. The fosters will be posted on Facebook, the website, and the adoption website services. Applications will be taken and reviewed for Veterinary records, home/rent, etc. Once an application is approved, the applicant will be contacted by email to set up a phone call. Once everyone agrees, a meeting and greeting date, time, and location will be determined. A meet and greet does not guarantee adoption; both parties must agree
Return Procedure: When adopted, the adopter has 14 days to return the foster for a full refund. If, after the grace period, the adopter can no longer keep the foster, it must be returned to the rescue.
