Our Mission
The Robeson county Humane Society improves the lives of animals in our community by:
· Reducing overpopulation of domesticated animals with spay/neuter programs and community education.
· Temporarily sheltering stray and unwanted cats and dogs, providing food, water, veterinary care and nurture .
· Finding suitable adoptive homes which are caring, responsible and appropriate for each shelter resident.
· Educating and promoting humane standards in our schools and in the community.
Adoption Policy
Our application is very simple but we take it very serious. They schedule a visit and a playdate along with filling out the application not only do we do an application review we talk to the potential adopters to make sure they are ready for a furbaby and a transitional period for them and the animal they are looking too adopt. We take these steps in hope to actually placing our animals into a forever home.
