Surry County Animal Control
Our Mission
Surry County Sheriff's Office Animal Control mission is to protect & serve the citizens & animals.
Adoption Policy
Potential adopters will fill out an adoption questionnaire after meeting and choosing a pet. Once it is reviewed and approved, within the timeframe of the visit, the adopter will sign the adoption contract and pay the adoption fee. If the animal has not been spayed or neutered, the adoption fee will cover to have that completed at one of our participating vets at a later date. The adopter will take home the pet the same day, and will be responsible to make sure the pet is spayed or neutered at the appointment provided.
