Our Mission

Mission Statement/Articles of Incorporation for Prairie Song Rescue Non-Profit
Purposes and powers limited by Section 501(c)3 Purpose(s):

Prairie Song Rescue is organized and operates exclusively for the purpose of charity within the meaning of section 501(c)(3).

Purposes that are beneficial to the public interest: transport, relief, care and rehabilitation of abandoned, homeless or rescue animals, advancement of education surrounding proper treatment and care of domestic animals & found or injured wildlife, services for animals in need, lessening the issues surrounding the need for animal rescue, defense of animals.

Limitations:
The operations and efforts will not be for the benefit of any private interest nor will any of the net earnings be for the benefit of private individuals.
Operation activities will not include participation in a political campaign or lobbying of any sort. The assets will be dedicated to the exempt purpose in the event of dissolution.

Adoption Policy

Adopters receive the application and adoption contract via email. Once the paperwork is received and the application is approved, the adopter is united with their animal of choice and starts the process of fostering to adopt. If at any time the animal isn't the perfect fit, PSR will assume possession of the animal.
